Annika Tirén – Tirenart

Annika Tirén is a Swedish artist and the creator behind Tirenart, where she produces intuitive and emotionally driven art with a focus on freedom, nature, and inner expression.

Her artistic journey began in 2016 during a life-changing period when she both became a mother and lost her brother. Painting became a way to process grief, find stillness, and reconnect with life.

Today, art is a central part of her identity. She works intuitively, without strict rules, allowing each brushstroke to be guided by emotion and presence. Nature, plants, and organic forms are recurring elements in her work, symbolizing healing, balance, and mental well-being.

Annika’s art also carries a deeper purpose: to inspire others to create freely and to raise awareness around mental health. Ten percent of all sales are donated to organizations working within this field.

She has studied art at university level in Sydney and holds an academic background in political science, bringing a reflective depth where emotion and intellect meet.

Annika Tirén is also part of a strong artistic heritage. She is related to the well-known Swedish artists Johan Tirén and Karl Tirén. Johan was a prominent painter known for his depictions of northern Swedish life and social engagement, while Karl was both an artist and a cultural documentarian.

Through Tirenart, she continues this artistic legacy—reinterpreted through a contemporary, personal, and emotional expression, where art is not only something to observe, but something to feel.
